Actor Junior pope has been confirmed dead after battling with his life.

In a devastating update, popular Nollywood actor Junior Pope Odonwodo has tragically passed away in a boating accident.

The actor and three of his colleagues were returning from a movie location in a boat when they fell into the Anam River in Anambra state. Unfortunately, they didn’t make it.

Just a few hours ago, the actor took to his Instagram page to share a video of himself taken yesterday in a boat, earnestly praying to arrive at his destination safely.

He had captioned the post, “See me lamenting……The risk we take to entertain you; crossing river 9ja yesterday with no life jacket…… Na wahoooooo …. Who does that ??”

Sadly, the accident happened on his way back from the movie location yesterday, Wednesday, April 10th.

After much effort by the Nigerian hospital due to no presence of oxygen he couldn’t make it through.

The 39-year-old actor is survived by his wife and three children.
