Mark Rofe, a 30-year-old man, has taken his desperation to meet someone a bit further as he put up a billboard calling for application from women who want to date him.
The 30-year-old singleton did not only stop at tweaking his Tinder, but he also went to build a 3m high and 6m wide billboard for £425 (N200,691.29).
The amazing thing about it is that in less than 24 hours, he got 124 applicants. On the billboard, it says: “Single? Date Mark. This could be the sign you’ve been waiting for.”
The 30-year-old said he took up the initiative to do something different and stand out from the crowd. He said that half of the people who got in touch with him were men.
Mark said he would be building more billboards at other strategic locations to increase his chances. Photo

“I’ve been single for a little while now, and many of my friends are married or in long term relationships. ‘I’ve tried the dating apps, but they just weren’t working for me, so I decided to try something a little bit different to try and stand out,” he said
It should be noted that the billboard was likely to have been seen around 462,000 drivers where it was erected in Machester.
Added to the billboard, Mark also opened a website where single women wanting to date him can get in touch.
He would not only be stopping at that one billboard as he said that he looking forward to getting more in Dublin, Bristol, Leeds, Sheffield, Birmingham, Cardiff, among others.
